At Arboretum Coffee, we believe in building a more inclusive, vibrant Northern Colorado—together.
Whether you’re mentoring one-on-one or supporting behind the scenes, your time and talents can create real impact. Our volunteers play a vital role in cultivating spaces where refugees and immigrants can thrive through connection, healing, and opportunity.
We currently offer two main ways to get involved:
Mentor Volunteer: Be a Steady Presence
As an Apprentice Mentor (Apprentice Navigator), you’ll be paired with an apprentice for the first three months of their journey. You’ll meet 2–4 hours per month to support them in areas like:
- Navigating cultural systems
- Building confidence and community
- Achieving goals like applying for jobs, practicing English, or accessing resources
This is a relationship-centered role—offering holistic support as our apprentices grow into new stages of life and work.
What we’re looking for:
- Compassionate, flexible, culturally sensitive individuals (age 25+)
- Able to commit 2–4 hours/month for at least 3 months
- Located in or near Fort Collins
Community Support Volunteer: Help the Mission Thrive
Prefer to work behind the scenes or bring your skills to specific projects? Our Community Support Volunteers help strengthen Arboretum’s programs and operations. Opportunities include supporting with fundraising and events, program support, marketing, community engagement, and admin.
Whether you have a few hours a month or want to take on a project, there’s a place for you here.
